Dress Guide | Silhouette - A-line

Silhouette means the overall cut of a gown. It is one of the most important elements to focus on. Not only does it set the mood of the entire gown, the right silhouette also flatters brides’ figures.

A-line creates triangle shape and is also known as princess dress.

Strapless powderblue A-line gown with ruffles neckline, featuring underlay pink tulleskirt. (Evening dress style no. ED 3035)

Soft orange A-line tulle gown with beaded bodice and 3-D floral sash. (Evening dress style no. ED 2014)

Baby pink A-line gown with draped bodice, featuring 3-D rose decorated on tulleskirt with jewelred sash. (Evening dress style no. ED 2035)

Pink sweetheart ball gown with straps, featuring guipure lace bodice.(Evening dress style no. E 5083)

Satin Rose red strapless with draped bodice, featuring 3D floral skirt. (Evening dress style no. ED 1087)

Good for: it is the most popular skirt option as it fits perfectly on a variety of body type. In particular, the A-Line cut covers wide hips effectively.

Bad for: As the A-line cut is narrow at the top and hugs the bust closely; it will make your bust look smaller.
